Top 500 for fantasy baseball 2022

There’s eighty-seven hundred filing papers, my Fordfathers said, “Stop calling us Fordfathers, you fool, they’re ancestors.” In order to form a more perfect fantasy baseball ranking system, we stopped the ranking for fantasy baseball and just said, “Eff, let’s just let Gray rank 500 or so Mr. So-and-so.” Or, more succinctly, the top 500 for fantasy baseball 2022. A few years ago, the top 500 was just a top 300 for fantasy baseball. Before that was 16 AD and I was drafting individual leagues because no one knew about fantasy baseball or baseball. In a few years it will be a top 10,000 and I will rank Ronald Acuña Jr. Jr. Jr. Today in this year, twenty-two after twenty, comes the top 500 for fantasy baseball 2022. Or, as I like to call it, “Did he really rank Mr. Doe before Mr. Doe Jr.?” If Mr. So-and-So Jr. had stopped hunting land in the dirt, I might have ranked him ahead of Mr. So-and-So. This message is not intended to send shockwaves through your system. The pipe cleaner that the doctor uses to remove clogged wax from your ears is intended for this. This is just to give you an idea of where the guys are ranked compared to other positions, i.e., you know I like Ketel Marte better than Brandon Lowe, according to the 20 best 2nd basemen, but do I like Ketel Marte better than Starling Marte or anyone else in the Marte family? Agree, it’s not that simple. You should read all the players’ blurbs, but this top 500 should give you an idea. You will notice that after the top 200, the positions start to clump together. I might be the only fantasy baseball player to tell you this, but it doesn’t matter where, say, Vidal Brujan is ranked against Camilo Doval. If you need backups, Brujan won’t help you. It can be classified 50 places in front of Doval and it does not matter. That’s why I have the Fantasy Baseball 2022 rankings broken down by positions. If you need a 1st baseman, where Bobby Dalbec vs. Ty France counts, but where Dalbec is rated vs. Nate Pearson really doesn’t matter. Also, there is no commentary on the players in this top 500, which is something you really should know before the draft. In other words, Shane Bieber may be in his 60s, but am I drafting him? Well, you would know that if you read my top 20 fantasy baseball of 2022. There is also a top 100 fantasy baseball of 2022 to help you out. Additionally, there is our online War Room, which is downloadable and free with Razzball subscriptions.
Also, where I had previously omitted the free agent projections, I’ve filled them in here because, well, it was getting confusing for me with the open spaces. All free agent projections are based on neutral parks or best guesses where they will end up i.e. guys I think will end up in the closest role to get projections of stops. Oh yeah, there are closer screenings here too. Anyway, here’s the top 500 fantasy baseball of 2022:
