TCU Men’s Basketball: Miles Has Unfinished Business – Announces He’s Returning to TCU and Not Entering NBA Draft

After less than two weeks of declaration for the NBA Draft. Mike Miles changed his mind and heart and decided to return for another season at TCU. “I’m coming back to finish what we started with my brothers!!” he posted this from his Twitter.
Miles is coming off a pretty good year, but it could have been a lot better for him if he hadn’t battled injuries throughout that tough Big 12 conference game. Miles averaged 15.4 points per match. He was a huge key for the Horned Frogs in the second half of Big 12 conference play and the TCU tournament.
It’s really good to see that Miles will be back for another year at TCU. Nothing wrong with improving your draft stock in arguably the best basketball conference in the nation.
Miles could have had a better year despite the wrist injuries that were on his shooting numbers, but nonetheless. he still made big play after big play for the Horned Frogs.

With this news, the head coach by Jamie Dixon using the transfer portal has become easier. He will be looking for players who can add value to a seemingly stacked roster. There are plenty of players who would love to play alongside Miles.
There is a chance that SMU will keep Kendric Davis may seek to return to TCU regardless of Miles’ decision.
Also, LSUs Adam Miller is in the transfer portal. He is another big transfer to watch as he was part of the USA U19 squad last summer with Miles and coached by Dixon. They all won a gold medal together. So, these additions could be important parts of TCU basketball’s success.
Adding these players to the roster will definitely increase the chemistry of the Horned Frogs, as it already seems like they were clicking at times. There’s still potential they haven’t tapped yet, and adding those players who have already been trained in a Jamie Dixon system will make them that much more lethal.
