Outlander’s Sam Heughan and his on-screen daughter dance together during an ice hockey game in New York

Sam Heughan and his Outlander co-star Sophie Skelton partied in New York ahead of the show’s sixth season launch.
The couple, who play father and daughter duo Jamie and Brianna on the show, went to a New York Rangers game and looked like they were enjoying themselves as Sophie filmed it for her Instagram page.
Both Sophie and Sam donned New York Rangers tops and caps and danced through the crowd.
At one point Sophie grabbed Sam’s head and turned it towards the camera and he started dancing with her.
Captioning the post, she said: “We had a dance party, @nyrangers won.”
And fans loved the New York content with the two stars.
One said, “The way you turned your head to participate.”
Another added: “Father-daughter bond.”

While one said, “The best is YOU who turn Sam’s head.”
And another wrote, “Aaaaaaa this video is driving me crazy love it.”
Last night Sam appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and revealed he knows how the Outlander series ends.
Sam said he knew the Outlander ending and that information was right in his inbox.
Jimmy began the interview: “Let’s talk about Outlander. Season six premieres on Sunday.
“People can’t wait.
“In fact, when you’re away, people call him ‘The Droughtlander’.
“People really miss the show.”
Sam jokes: “Yeah, every year the Droughtlander gets a little longer.
“This year, the break has been almost two years between our seasons.
“I think we are just testing our fans. Next time it will be a decade.”
Faced with the suggestion, Jimmy shuts down the idea of a decade of waiting for fans telling Sam he can’t do this.
“You know, it’s based on amazing books, amazing writing,” praises the Tonight Show host.
Sam gushed: “Diana Gabaldon, thank you Diana.
“She wrote this amazing series. She’s in book 10, we’re about to do book 7 season 7, so we still have a ways to go.”
Now Jimmy asks the all-important question everyone is dying to know: “Do you know how it ends?”

Sam replies, “Yeah, I know how it ends.”
As Jimmy jokes, “See, I don’t know if you’re lying to me or acting.”
The Outlander actor tells the show, “No, she told me the ending a long time ago actually.”
“So she wrote the ending but didn’t write it. Is it in her head?” Jimmy asked Sam, before jokingly replying, “Yeah, it’s in his head and my chainmail.”
