Kenai River defenseman Henry commits to NCAA | North American Hockey League

The Kenai River Brown Bears of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Sean Henry signed up to play NCAA Division III hockey for Trine University.
Henry, 21, has just completed his fourth and final season of junior hockey in the NAHL. The 6’0/205 lbs. a native of White Lake, MI, reached career highs in every category during the 2021-22 season at Kenai River, playing in all 60 regular season games and recording 15 points (7 goals, 8 assists).
Henry made his NAHL debut with the Maryland Black Bears in the 2018-19 season, playing in 32 games and recording three points.
In the 2019-20 season, he started the regular season with the Minnesota Magicians but was traded to the New Mexico Ice Wolves early on, where he played 38 games during the regular season and recorded 10 points.
The 2020-21 season saw Henry play 15 games for the Ice Wolves and register one goal.
In total, in 146 NAHL games over four seasons, Henry has amassed 29 points.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Henry spent three seasons playing for Belle Tire in Michigan.
