How to watch the Premier Hockey Federation Semi-Finals and Finals on ESPN+ and ESPN2

The 2022 Premier Hockey Federation Isobel Cup semifinals and finals will be played Sunday (1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. ET, ESPN+) and Monday (9 p.m.) at AdventHealth Center Ice in Wesley Chapel, Fla.
This will be the first time the women’s hockey league has played its championship game outside of its franchise markets. The Isobel Cup championship game will air on ESPN2 – the network’s first linear broadcast of a professional women’s hockey game.
PHF commissioner Tyler Tumminia said the idea of a “neutral venue” for the Isobel Cup began in 2021. What was then known as the National Women’s Hockey League attempted to organize his season in Lake Placid, New York, due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic. . That experiment fell through due to multiple team outbreaks, and the playoffs finally ended in March at Warrior Arena in Boston, the Boston Bruins’ practice rink. Boston Pride won the Cup for the second time.
“I felt really passionate about it. Not just for the competitive advantage of leveling the playing field for all teams, but I really feel like the playoffs should be a special event. Having a destination with the playoffs really gives the athletes extra motivation,” Tumminia said during the announcement. “And I’m sure they’re not going to complain when they come out of the cold. I know they’re not.”
