GDT Game 2: Winnipeg Jets vs Montreal Canadiens

Winnipeg Jets and Montreal Canadiens we are starting again this evening. It was difficult to find any updated lineup so all lineups are educated guesses and wishful thinking on my part. That said, the two teams will have different lineups due to injuries and suspensions. Dylan DeMelo is out for at least a week due to injury and Mark Scheifele is out for four games with a suspension.

I mentioned yesterday that a suspension should help keep the series in check. Today, Shea Weber said the shot is over and they’re not talking about it anymore because the Habs have a guy who doesn’t play and the Jets have a guy who doesn’t. That’s part of what suspending a player can do – it can allow the temperature to drop over a series and hockey to remain the center of attention.
